What I Wore in Prague When It Was Too Cold

I visited Prague solo in probably the coldest month of the year, February. The main question when visiting Europe in the midst of the winter is:

What do you wear to keep warm but still manage to look cute?

Since I come from a warm country (Israel) I cannot bare to walk around the streets while suffering from cold. That’s why it is very important to me that I wear something that can keep me as warm was possible. However, it can be quite a challenge to look good for your traveling photos while wearing something warm. To overcome this challenge, and the fact that I had a limited amount of warm clothes in my suitcase (I flew straight from London while most of my clothes are in Israel) I had to work with the clothes I have and layer up.

Layers, layers, layers.

Layers are the key to the question. If you wear layers, you can easily take off the top layer of your outfit just for your travel photos. Also, it can be a nice solution if you don’t have one warm coat with you.

For my day in Prague I wore a long-sleeve basic top and added a fur vest. The vest kept me sooo warm! Of course it was too cold not too wear a huge coat on top of that, and it was too cold not to wear a scarf. I also had to wear snow boots since it was snowing and I wanted to make sure I am prepared for the weather.

  • All of the photos above were taken with a timer and sometimes a tripod.

What I wore:

Top: New Look

Vest: Silk Fred (Similar here)

Jeans: Paige

Coat: Zara

Scarf: H&M (old)

Bag: Primark

What do you think? did I managed to pull off this look?

I totally agree, layers are key when it’s cold and you’re trying to still have a stylish look. You definitely did that here!

I love this! I’m from a cold climate so I definitely understand the necessity for layers, ahahah. But I’ve never pulled it off quite as fashionably as you! Really stunning.

It’s hard to look chic when it’s so cold but you’ve pulled it off really well! Mind you, I always wear a hat when I’m cold

I absolutely love Prague but have only visited in the summer and I cannot imagine how cold it must have been when you were there! You’d never know from the photos other than how you are dressed! Loving your long black hair. I am sure that may have kept you the warmest 🙂
