What I Wore & Did in Barcelona (PART I)
I just got back from a weekend in Barcelona with my boyfriend. Needless to say how amazing this city is! We had the best time and Barcelona quickly became one of my favorite places in Europe.
After the success of one of my previous posts about what I wore in Santorini, I wanted to write a similar one and tell you what I wore and did in Barcelona.
This is how we spent the first day in the city:
We arrived early morning and checked into our hotel at Exiample, one of the most known neighborhoods in Barcelona. So, we decided to walk around our neighborhood to become familiar with the hotel’s surroundings. However, we somehow ended up in La Rambla. For lunch we picked the nicest looking Italian restaurant and had a lovely romantic meal.
Then, we walked all the way to the port and stumbled upon Barcelona’s Gay Parade which was a lot of fun and lively. To be fair, the plan wasn’t to walk as much as we found ourselves crossing a beautiful park and arriving into the Arc de Triomf which was stunning. I couldn’t help but asking my boyfriend to take lots of pictures of me there, despite of the heat.
A long day of walking has come to an end and we decided to head back to the hotel to rest and prepare for the next busy day.
